Description What is Fiebing’s Dye-Prep used for? Cleans and prepares leather for dyeing. For use on tannery leather that has not been previously dyed or finished. Removes dirt, grime, and other light tannery finishes. To remove lacquer or plated tannery finishes, use Fiebing’s Deglazer. How do I use Dye-Prep? Use small hand brush to scrub the dye preparer into the leather until absorbed. Finally, wipe away excess and apply Fiebing’s Dye.
