I love this Bison leather. I like that I get a consistent color between each side I get. Leather arrives in a good study box and sides I’ve gotten are typically 19’s and only a few holes around the outer with an occasional scar or set of scars. But if you make rugged stuff like I do the scars are welcome. Overall: leather is consistent and around 19 and people love the pull-up so distress this leather as much as you can. Only the hard creases stay and the lighter ones relax and disappear as you can see in the photos. (Picture shows the largest scar I’ve had on a side. Right in the middle of the spine of the journal. But again people love that in the leather.)
